Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley

The Miracle League provides children with physical and mental challenges the opportunity to play baseball in an organized league. Founded in 1998 in Rockdale, Georgia, the Miracle League now has over 300 chapters in North America. The Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley is the first chapter in Pennsylvania. The participants play on a rubber playing surface with the bases and plates painted on so that wheelchairs can operate freely. The Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley features dugouts, a concession stand, a picnic area and restroom facilities. The structures were designed with cantilevered 'warped plane' roofs to provide weather protection for players and fans and to mimic the topography of the surrounding rolling hills.
